CAR PARK PEDESTRIAN WARNING SYSTEM
Car parks often have poor visibility at their exits, with columns and walls obstructing driver’s view of pedestrians and fast-moving scooter riders. The Vivacity Car Park Pedestrian Warning System alerts drivers, riders and people using the footpath that a vehicle is about to exit, reducing the likelihood of collisions and traumatic injuries.
The Vivacity Car Park Pedestrian Warning System has bollard mounted lights, positioned either side of each lane at the exit from the car park. The system can also be used at other places whether there is conflict between different user groups in industrial and commercial premises.
The Car Park Pedestrian Warning System uses sensors in each lane to detect the movement of vehicles towards the exit, activating the warning system for the lane the vehicle is in when a vehicle is leaving.

INSTALLATION
The Vivacity Car Park Pedestrian Warning System is installed by a qualified electrician. Sensor layouts and programming allow for one-way or two-way entry and exit lane operations, and the timing of the lights and optional audible alarm can be programmed.

Vivacity Smart Activated LED lights are installed in road and path surfaces. The low voltage lights are connected to a smart control box and can be activated by a range of sensor and signal technologies. They are an alternative to the Vivacity Car Park Pedestrian Warning System, positioned in the lane to flash to warn drivers, riders and pedestrians. They are core-drilled and saw cut into the road or path surface.
If standard lighting is required to improve wayfinding and the visibility of lines, then Vivacity In-Ground LED Pavement Markers / Stud Lights can be installed in car parks, laneways and roads. For example, they improve the visibility of pedestrian crossings, lines for parking bays, and edge and centre lines of roadways. They are core drilled into the road or path surface.
